Orange Cat Community Farm
Orange Cat Community Farm
Orange Cat is a Community Supported Agriculture farm located in Sauk County, WI, between Reedsburg and Wisconsin Dells. I was raised in the area and am excited to settle down on the land I know. Growing plants and cultivating a deep relationship with nature has always brought me immense joy. I want to share that joy with you. My goal is to create a place where others can develop a similar relationship with the land. What better way than through the food you eat!
Welcome
What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is a way to connect the consumer directly to the farmer who grows the food. Members purchase a share in the farm in exchange for weekly or bi-weekly boxes of produce. But it's much more than just that. It is an opportunity to support a local farmer, be introduced to new foods, get in touch with your environment by eating with the seasons, and create community with others who are sharing the same experience. By joining a CSA you get something that many others don't- you know where your food comes from and how it was produced. It just tastes better that way.
The produce at Orange Cat Community Farm is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Much effort is taken to provide members with the freshest, most delicious vegetables possible- vegetables grown with you and your family in mind.
Farm members are encouraged to visit the farm to see things first hand. There will be family friendly events throughout the season- pot-lucks and a pumpkin pick in the fall. It is a lot of work to grow vegetables, so it is also necessary to have a lot of fun. Come be a part of it!
