Too much lettuce?

I know these first few boxes have been heavy on the lettuce and it can start to feel like a chore to get it all eaten. My former intern, Kari, and some other CSA members have given the suggestion of adding your extra lettuce to a fruit smoothie. What a great way to get all of the nutrients and fiber from your greens before your next CSA box! Local seasonal fruits- strawberries, blueberries, red and black raspberries, are all available or nearly available at this time of year.
