The grilled cheese is a quick and easy standby that can satisfy even the hungriest farmer girl. Here are my tips on how to make it a little more adult-like and a little more delicious.
Always use more than one kind of cheese. Cheddar and Muenster is delicious. Last night I had Cheddar and Parmesan.
Load it up with some sauted veggies. Last night I had caramelized onions, but anything would be tasty, even some summer squash or peppers.
Fresh tomato is a must.
Send it over the top with a couple of basil leaves. I added those after the sandwich came off the stove.
