Asian Cabbage Salad

Dressing: add all ingredients in a jar and shake

  • 2 T tahini
  • 1/2 T tamari
  • 2 t sesame oil
  • 1/2 t. onion powder
  • 1 t. lemon juice
  • 1 t. minced garlic
  • 1 t. light miso
  • 1/2 t. agave (or other sweetener)
  • 1/2 t. toasted sesame oil
  • cayenne to taste

Veggies:

  • 1 small cabbage, red or green, shredded
  • 3 carrots, julienned
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced thinly
  • 1/4 C. minced cilantro

Toss the dressing with the veggies and garnish with sesame seeds. Serve as a salad on its own or on top of rice or other grains.
